Kaspersky has announced it has signed a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) agreement with Umniah, a leading Telecom Services Provider in Jordan. Through this strategic agreement, Umniah will expand its MSSP portfolio by offering Kaspersky’s premium cybersecurity solutions and an ecosystem of tools, incentives, and support that will help customers to elevate their business to the next level.
As a result of this partnership, Umniah will be offering Kaspersky’s cutting-edge resources and services such as Threat Intelligence, Security Assessment, Incident Response, Security Awareness, and Security Training, ensuring organizations are better equipped to strengthen their security posture as cyberattacks continue to grow both locally and globally. Additionally, Umniah’s OPEX and ‘pay-as-you-go’ based licensing program will make it easier and flexible for customers to acquire the required licenses when interested in a particular service or solution, thereby guaranteeing the investment.

This move comes in the light of Kaspersky channeling its efforts towards increasing awareness and providing intelligence and expertise to organizations, regardless of size, to be safe against unprecedented cyber threats and build a new level of cyber-immunity. Commenting on this partnership, Amir Kanaan, Managing Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Kaspersky said, “We see emerging technologies opening gateways to more cyberattacks by increasing the level of risk and exposure. Keeping this in mind, Kaspersky is extremely pleased to be able to provide our cybersecurity solutions and services to the Jordanian market through Umniah, a company dedicated to providing the very best security protection. We are confident that through this partnership, our expertise and innovative solutions will ensure matchless data protection for our customers across the region”
“Partnering with Kaspersky for its offerings to expand our portfolio is a strategic move for us. This partnership with Kaspersky, a proven leader in the security industry, ensures that we can provide our customers with the best solutions as part of our portfolio range. We are confident that Kaspersky will contribute to the success of our journey and we look forward to a fruitful collaboration.” Said, Ziad Shatara, CEO, at Umniah.
